Senior Account Manager – the role
As a Senior Account Manager, you have the responsibility of managing some of the agency’s key client accounts and ensuring the delivery of 1st class projects - from concept to implementation. Projects range from trade advocacy programmes, strategic/ creative led toolkits and brand experience to live events.
As Senior Client Manager your role will require strategic planning, confident & intuitive client handling, development & pitching of standout proposals, strong leadership, team management and delegation, creative vision and content creation, budget management, cost control and business development. Experience working at similar style agency (creative/marketing/brand) is a must alongside experience of drinks brands. If you have strong drinks experience in a creative agency, the agency will bring you up to speed on some of the other areas of marketing, such as advocacy.
Senior Account Manager – responsibilities -
Client Management
Host client meetings with confidence and skill. Have the ability to listen and engage
Have an in-depth knowledge of all areas of client business (predominantly in and around drinks)
Have the ability to manage a project from start to finish
Define strategy and identify key outputs
Produce creative proposals, internal project briefs, budgets etc.
Produce end of activity reports
Work hand in hand with the client throughout the process
Be able to identify future opportunities within clients’ businesses
Be someone with ideas, keen to input into creative brainstorms
Be collaborative and enjoy working closely with teams
Have total command of budgets and financial management, including profitability, billing schedules etc
Senior Account Manager – personal requirements –
Practical and demonstrable experience working in a creative agency. You’ll have some knowledge or interest in the world of drinks. Some live events knowledge would be superb; multifaceted campaigns would be very helpful.
Punctual, self-motivated, strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Able to make things happen, not just let things happen; manage rather than be managed
Be pragmatic and professional. Someone who can analyse and make decisions
Someone with a passion for the hospitality sector and have a love of the culture
Strong business acumen and proficient numeracy skills
Be a great networker and communicator
